Arran 100 Proof (8yo)
Nose: Neat: Very strong nose, sweet rubber. Water: The water brings the oak, pear and grass aromas to the surface.
Taste: Neat: Powerful taste. Fruity and with some flowery notes. Water: More oak, and spicy.
Finish: Neat: Long and peppery finish. Water: Medium long finish, oaky and still very peppery.
Comments: Water needed, 57% is to powerful.

Clynelish 1991
Nose: Very fresh and a little fruity nose. Oak and some flowery notes.
Taste: Very smooth. Fruity and lots of oak, nuts and bark. Vanilla.
Finish: Medium long finish, not much flavors though.
Comments: A nice whisky with summer flavors. Not much to complain about really.

Bunnahabhain 1997 SV
Nose: Powerful nose, tingling nose feeling alright. Floral notes, rose hips (funny word). But the old, moldy aroma is quite awful.
Taste: Lots of woody flavors, oak and bark. There is some spicy notes here, ginger. And in the background I can taste some peaty flavors, smoked bacon maybe.
Finish: Long finish, with very nice woody flavors, oak resin and nutmeg.
Comments: This whisky is ok,...

Amrut Fusion
Nose: Neat: Powerful nose and woody aromas. Vanilla, oak and bark. Water: Now there is a nice citrus and spicy notes coming forward.
Taste: Neat: Strong taste of alcohol. Lots of wood and some toffee flavors. Water: The oaky flavors are still there, and some nuts and cardboard.
Finish: Neat/Water: Long finish, with a peppery end.

Nose: Powerful nose. Peaty aromas, ash and cigar smoke.
Taste: Peaty flavors, tar, seaweed and some fruit, apricots.
Finish: Medium long finish, light peat and some nice peppery notes.
Comments: Very nice peaty whisky outside Islay.

Bruichladdich Peat
Nose: Ash, bonfire and burnt wood. Lightly peated nose.
Taste: There are peaty flavors, but I can feel woody notes also. Nice attack, light smoke and wood in a good balance.
Finish: Medium long finish. Spicy and nice..
Comments: Medium peaty whisky. Very drinkable indeed. If you don’t like peaty whiskies, maybe this can change your mind.

Nose: Deep and earthy nose, and some perfume(?).
Taste: Smooth and peppery at the same time. And the perfume is coming back again.

Mackmyra Special 01
Nose: Very strong, burns my dear nose. So much alcohol. Some toffee and banana.
Taste: Powerful, spirity. Strong and some sweet flavors in the background.
Finish: Very long and spicy.
Comments: This whisky tastes like a very young one. Allmost undrinkable, needs water badly.

Sheep Dip
Type: Blended Malt Whisky
Nose: Lots of wood. Malty and fruity. Peach maybe..
Taste: Smooth taste. Oak, toffee and a earthy note. But in the background there is a nasty bitter taste, not good.
Finish: Short finish, to few flavors now.
Comments: Nice nose, smooth taste and a short finish. Very drinkable whisky, but not a mind-blowing one.

Nose: Wood and some sherry notes, easy on the nose. Not bad..

Glendronach 1992
Nose: Neat: Very powerful, tingling nose feeling. But so fruity and sweet. Water: Less strong now, and the fruity notes just keep on coming, peach, apples and maybe mellon.

Laphroaig Cairdeas (Feis Ile 2009)
Nose: Powerful nose, and there is a wild battle between peat, smoke and lemon.
Taste: Strong flavors, I can even feel it in my nose, haha. So much peat AND citrus fruits, nice.
Finish: Long finish. Lots of peaty notes.
Comments: This whisky don’t need any water. Lots of peat and yet so fruity..

Laphroaig 1998 DD
Nose: Neat: Surprisingly smooth and so little peaty notes, weird for a Laphroaig. Water: With water it feels diluted…
Taste: Neat: It’s a nice peaty attack, lots of coal and bonfire. Water: Not as strong anymore, but the sweetness is coming on strong.
Finish: Neat: The finish is so long and wonderful. Water: With water it just taste diluted.

Nose: Tingling nose feeling. The first thing I noticed was that the scent is so sweet, almost sherry-like. Plastic/rubber.
Taste: The taste is smooth and there are flavors of oak, bark and forest.
Finish: Long finish, very strong. Throat warming gold.
Comments: A good whisky, lovely scent that is followed by a taste that does not have the same dimensions. It’s a little bit too woody.

Talisker 1991 Distillers Edition
Nose: It’s a soft and pleasant smell coming from the glass. It’s sweet and fruity. You can really feel the sweet sherry aroma, but there are also cocoa, chocolate and some rubber..
Taste: It’s quite smooth, but there is strong flavors, nice..
Finish: The finish is medium long, smooth and fruity.
Comments: I can really taste the sherry, sweet and fruity.

Pig's Nose
Type: Blended Whisky

Hanyu 1991 Eight of Hearts
Nose: Neat: Powerful nose, intense aromas. Damp basement and popcorn(?). With water: The weird popcorn scent is still here, but better than before.
Taste: Neat: Very strong (56.8%), wool, old library. With water: Better, but again, the strange flavors are here anyway.
Finish: Neat: Long finish, very peppery. With water: Short, smooth and sweet.
Comments: This whisky is full of weird and...

Redbreast 15yo
Nose: Strong nose. Very strong aromas, exotic fruits, mango and peach.
Taste: Good attack on the palette. Rubber and flowery flavors. Some sherry notes as well.
Finish: Medium long finish, with a nice rubber flavors.
Comments: Interesting whisky. This is a almost as the 12yo, but with more intense flavors. I really like Redbreast, thats it.
